Our very own Granny – Sue Kenworthy – is off the the UK in the next day or so. We want to wish her and Steve the best of luck and fun on thier journey. Sue will also be attending the UK Convention on our behalf and taking a few bits and pieces along – but I will leave her to tell her own stories.
Hope you will all join me in wishing her a great time and to come home safely hopefully with some new Conventioneers signed up for 2011 Down Under!!!

I’m all packed with my granny outfits and also a Feegle outfit thanks to Missgoo. 3.5kg of flyers, plus posters, prints, mugs and t-shirts bearing our logo are also in the suitcase as gifts for Discworld luminaries and auction donations. Precious little room for normal clothes – oh dearie me I might have to do some shopping in the UK!

I’ll be at the UK con as well, and will meet up with Sue and try and help promote NA3 in amongst the rest of fun and frivolity.

Hi ‘Granny’
It might be worth posting a notice ‘hosting’ an ’event’* in the bar one evening at the UK Con for attendees or potential attendees?
That way we can see who’s already going, and persuade others to come as well- rough translation – be at the appointed spot drinking a beer. Are Aussies OK with doing that? 8-)
