   OK, now home safely, after the longest journey of my life (56 hours from Picton to Virginia Water via Blenheim, Christchurch, Sydney, Singapore, and Heathrow)

   I can’t praise the committee enough for their amazing convention
   I don’t have any individual highlights – it all blurs into one fantastic event – but I do have a few special mentions

   Rhianna for the most beautiful DWCon artwork I’ve ever seen
   Miranda for the most amazing attention to detail ever for a gala dinner – every table had their own unique hand-built centrepiece and different themed party favours or each table
   All the attendees for making us six brave & foolhardy UK travellers feel so welcome at every event
   Sam & Lisa for demonstrating just how quickly Aussie girls can get drunk enough to put their hands on strangers’ thighs
   The whole committee and of course especially Steve & Tania for putting together such a packed fun programme of events

   So thank you to all who organised and attended, can’t wait until 2013!

   It was Gabby that organised the Galah dinner, but Miranda was also a legend in helping out everywhere she was needed over the whole weekend. :-)
