The NA III Pre Committee (Steve and Tania Lewis, Rhianna Williams and Sue Kenworthy) would like to announce their intention to organise Nullus Anxietas III, in 2011, to take place in the Sydney area.
Such an event will require a strong co-ordinating team – comprising:

Treasurer – Moist Von Lipwig
Events – The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents
Publicity – William De Worde and His Dwarf Setters
Design and Merchandising – Leonard De Quirm
Technical/Web – Ponder Stibbons and His Wizards
Security – Captain Vimes and The Watch
Sponsorship and Auctions – Chrysoprase and His Trolls
Venue and Catering -Nanny Ogg and The Ogg Family
Membership – Drumknott and The Auditors
We have drafted job descriptions for each of these roles which are on the forums and we invite anyone interested to apply via this email address:lewis_oz@bigpond.com. The deadline for applications is 9th October 2009. There is no formal application form. Just tell us why you think you fit the job description best and what you think you can offer the team. We will accept letter, videos or any other medium that we can read, view and understand!!
We also accept that some roles can be combined and some skill sets will fit better across job descriptions – we will bear this in mind when selecting. Consideration will be given to all applications on an equal opportunities (and equal heights) basis and selection will be made on ability. We also envisage that each committee member will build up a team to help them handle tasks – so even if you don’t want a committee role – call us to get involved!
The aim is to have the whole committee in place and have our first meeting in the Sydney area, by the second week in November.
Please bear in mind that all meetings will be held in the Sydney area and all major committee members should be able to attend meetings regularly. However, some supporting roles can be held by those outside the area as communication can be sustained though Skype.
So, come on all you Pratchett fans – claim your place in Discworld History and join ‘The Beggers Guild’ – otherwise known as The Nullus Anxietas III Convention Committee.
