Stuff for the hunt
Hi everyone :)
Ok here is how I can help with the hunt. I have the following
I’ve got a first day cover from the 07 con that’s got a stamp on it
07 and 09 Nullus t shirts
I’m fairly sure I have a photo of death of rats from 09 though it may be a bit blurry
I’ve got a gopher t shirt from a uk discworld con
I’ve got a couple of pairs of earings from the cunning artificer.
I don’t have a beer bottle lable but I do have discworld coasters of various well known brands. Do you think that will count?I’m happy to take photos of all this and email it to who ever wants to coordinate the hunt or simply bring them to the con. So let me know what you want me to do :)

I have some autographed novels, and might have (or be able to get) a poster or programme from a play…
we’ve seen 2 or 3, not sure where the progs ended up… but a friend was in them, so should be able to get hold of one (or a copy). -

I’ve def got a pic of the death of rats :)
I could try to crochet a feegle? Otherwise I have a pencil sketch of one I drew.
I think we should try to get a hat and stick corks all over it!
I’ve also got a photo of the librarian from the first con.I also have video footage of the Hedgehog song from the last con if we want to use that instead of written lyrics.
I’m so excited!

Hey guys
Oooo the pencil sketch of a feegle would kill 2 birds with one stone and cover the fan art bit of the hunt but the crochet feegle sounds really cool. Hmmm Lillythepink57 your crochet dalek has made me think of a lady i met that made gingerbread Doctor Who related charicters. May be i could try doing a feegle?

I dont know about the rest of you but there have not been any discworld plays in my area so Adeptus your offer of getting a poster/program of one sounds great.

I have a black pointy hat with corks on it (from Nullus II) I think it is technically a witches hat.
I too have t-shirts from the last two cons and I might have some photos of feegles from the last con – as well as Death of Rats
I’ve found Paul Kidby’s nemesis too(note – only just worked out I’m an alchemist)
Pigeon, Statue – take your pick. Tomorrow we alternate.

There is a newbies guide to the Convention as one of the first events happening at 1pm on Friday. You will get the Granny Weatherwax Guide to conventioneering – not to be missed!I can’t be having with foreign parts

I agree with Granny Weatherwax. It dosent matter if you are new to the the con just throw your self in and participate. It is all good fun. I would also advise you going to the newbies guide to the Con. I went to that in ’07 and some very good tips and tricks were given and you also meet people who are also feeling a bit lost.Only less than 2 weeks to go WOOHOO!! So hope you are ready to have fun. Yep Cant wait, if I have a chance I will get along to your very inspirational talk. I will be helping in the manning of the Australian Costumers Guild Stall and if I have a helper at that stage I will be along.

Another newbie enters the fold….
I’m trying to plot up my costume for the Con (yes, I have left it a little bit late) and was wondering if, since I’m in the alchemists guild, I should have an alchemist related costume?
