   Assassins appear in: The Colour of Magic (a bit), Pyramids (for the first ‘book’), Men At Arms (a lot), Hogfather (somewhat), and in the background of many other Ankh-Morpork novels, esp. City Watch ones (Feet of Clay, Jingo, Night Watch, Thud!) – generally just Lord Downey as the head of the Assassins’ Guild appearing at council meetings (and getting on Vimes’ bad side).

   There’s also the Assassins’ Guild Diary (2000) which is probably quite hard to get a hold of now :)

   You can’t kill me because I’ve got magic aarrghh!

   Hi fellow assassins

   I can bring for the scavenger hunt:

   Item 1 – a discworld stamp – I have bought stuff from the Discworld Emporium
   Item 3 – a feegle – I have a picture of a feegle from PJSM Prints
   Item 5 – A Hogswatch Card – I have 3 of these
   Item 8 – A signed DW book – I have several of these but will bring “I shall wear midnight”
   Item 14 – Discworld related jewellery – I have several pieces and will bring a Tiffany Iron ring and a Tiffany horse, and maybe some turtle earrings (I have lost the butterfly clip from one of them, but am now looking for a replacement)
   Item 20 – The librarian – I have a Paul Kidby picture of the librarian.

   I hope that gets us closer to the winning position! I’m also willing to buy an item or two from the Discworld Emporium is need be! I’m so selfless sometimes I surprise myself!

   Kristin – it’s good of you to offer to buy something from the Discworld Emporium (I know the Cunning Artificer always appreciates a customer) but we might just accept a photo of the item. However, if it’s a little something you always promised yourself …
