   At last year’s UK Con, they had an election of the Low King. It was a bit of fun – there were 8 nominees and everyone had the chance to vote for their favourite nominees (who also took the oppportunity for a lot of self-promotion).

   It’s purely for fun (and prestige). No preparation, costume, or skills required, except being prepared to beg, buy, and cajole for votes just like the best sort of politician :)

   You can’t kill me because I’ve got magic aarrghh!

   I could get behind chocolate handmaidens.. :-) Excellent market strategy there.

   Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.

   You’ll know this Handmaiden is mine as opposed to anyone else’s as she’s my clone.

   I’m still putting together my submission but I can probably find room for a couple of subsidiary chocolate handmaidens.
