Hhmmmm.
I am dubious though...
Well have to wait to see how it is.
The preview on apple.com doesn't really let you see much.

There is the official site as well, though it doesn't have much either.

Still it's got basic cast info and a few pics (I think Marvin looks great!)
I have high hopes for this one, after dissapointment with the 1982 series.

I don't know. I have always thought that the radio
serial format was the best. Always felt disappointed with the TV show and even the record of the radio show seemed to be more of a copy of the TV show

I happened to be up at some ungodly hour Fri night/Sat morning & flicking through the stations, and caught a brief glimpse of it on Entertainemnt Tonight (hey, I was flicking, okay?!). And it looks VERY different to the TV series or how I imagine the radio version. It could be very good, but for any long term fans, expect a COMPLETE reboot.

He does have two heads. If you watch the trailer carefully - his head flips backwards and another head appears from his neck.

!!! I can't wait!
Looks better all the time.
I love Marvin.
Have to say I am more relaxed now that I have seen Trillian, I was worried they might have done the same again to her like from the BBC series.
Does anyone know how many books it will cover? I assume the first two, but this trailer had dolphins, so perhaps includes as far as So Long And Thanks For All The fish...

It will cover the same basic plot as Book 1, but is once again, entirely different. There's apparently a whole sequence in the middle with new stuff (written by Douglas) that is completely unlike anything in any previous version, and involves Humma Kuvala (John Malkovich) and Trillian visiting the Vogsphere... but that's all I know so far.

I must admit that while the voice is perfect the robot as such does not to me at least look like Marvin should
