Having purchased myself a luxurious stay in the hotel amongst various other luxuries for my 2 week holiday, I may overspent my budget. . . I think I could stretch out to $25 for an entertaining night out though. Especially since I could probably walk/stagger home from Annandale.
Although maybe a few more $$ on airfares wouldn’t go astray with delays of 3.5 hours and 2 hours on Jetstar!

Saturday 24th – Huzzah! I’ll make the call and book a ticket. Now where is Annandale… scratches head
The Friday dinner got pushed to Thurs, and hence the Thurs dinner got pushed to Wed. This made me sad as it meant another Trivia evening I could not attend to further expound my ignorance (which far supersedes the lack of geography as shown above).
But it would be great to catch up with you guys on Sat again. Did u guys want me to make the booking tomorrow (Tue?) Who’s attending… Slightly? Multum? Is Robbie back and well?

Annandale is easy! Travel along Parramatta Road and turn right before Leichhardt (if you’re coming from the CBD).
I have only managed to convince one other to go at this point (and one possible) – all these sociable people who pre-book themselves on . Could you book 2 for me? Somehow I lost your contact details. Do you have mine to email me?

Heres another possible destination for a get together in coming weeks. Theres a series of free anime films screening at Art Gallery of NSW on Wed eve and Sun arvo. They are from Studio Ghibli, where amongst others Miyazaki directed “Spirited Away” and “Howls Moving Castle”. You can find the full program here:
I’ll definitely be seeing Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind this Sunday 25 February 2pm.

I’m assuming Martin’s show is general admin – so I recommend whoever is booking the tickets to book the current ones now, and you can book more later if needed (if there’s still tickets available).
