Noticed a broad range of interests in authors in redaing commonalities just wondering what people actually think of certain authors.
I would like to start with Sara Douglass. Her Axis trilogy was excellent, the wayfarer redemption is good but got really wierd in places. The crucible I thought was fantastic and I have really enjoyed the Troy Game books so far, I like the way she puts a twist on true History.
Any other thoughts on Sara Douglass and other authors would be great.

Just wondering if anyone else has read the works of James Bibby?
His use of puns is often painful but for a work of comic fantasy it contains all the necessary equipment including a carnivorous talking donkey.
