   Hello all,

   My boyfriend and I (both Pratchett fans, of course!) are planning a trip to Australia around September, and I thought it would be really nice to join a Pratchett-fan gathering while we’re there. I understand that there are no official and regular gatherings (except the Conventions..), so maybe we could organize one?

   As this trip goes, we’ll have time for such a gathering only while we’re in Melbourne, which will be at the end of September.

   So what do you say? Anybody up to this? :)

   Hi!

   It seems that the forum is a bit dead, now the Convention is over… :)

   I’m a bit far away to try and get things moving. On the other hand, there is some time until September :p

   I’m always up for something…

   Anyone have any suggestions as to where? Lots of places in the city for a meal or drink. I’d suggest a picnic but the weather in September is a bit uncertain- we would need a good plan B.

   Sorry for the delay, I just don’t come in here too often any more.

   I may be available midweek but the rest of the Discworld people in the house may not be. The weekend of the 26/27 is rather busy but I may be able to squeeze a couple of hours for you. Everything that weekend is non-negotiable I’m afraid.

   Keep us up-to-date with your movements and when you’ve got something firm I can start getting in touch with some others who don’t come on to the forums very often.

   I missed the second convention, and now i just found out the third convention is not going to be held at Melbourne. so i am up for anything. It would be very fun to meet other Discworld fans. and i will probably bring along two other friends who are also discfans.
