Oh, I will absolutely be there. I’ve blocked out the first half of 2011 in the calendar in anticipation of specific dates. The ‘NA3’ bank account is already accumulating interest, and I figure I have 15 months to nag my other half into reading Pratchett, or shall have to go stag-ette
(I know! I live with a non-Prachetteer. It was touch-and-go for our relationship when I found out!)

Pending having enough $ (since wife is insisting her and kids are coming for the holiday), I’ll be there again with my chocolate supply :-)
Why do it tomorrow when it can be put off indenfinetly?

Should be able to go, barring emergencies at work with the building projects … Hopefully it won’t be as warm as the only other time I’ve gone to Sydney :)

Not more maltesers!! They’re impossible to refuse and my waistline just can’t take it.

Don’t worry, I’ll come to the rescue. Yummy!

Esclaramonde you are not alone – I’m on the committee to organise the next convention and I have an entire family who not only do not read the books, but treat my love of the discworld as a strange little hobby.

Too little time – I remember your chocolate supply! it was never-ending. good to hear that your family is coming with you – eventually we will have links on the web site about things to do in the area when you are here. There’s also some things like mini golf and some kind of wave boarding set up available at Panthers

Ohhh wave boarding sounds fun! Although with my level of skill at accidents it is probably something best avoided. lol
Noah’s Ark is a problem. We’ll have to call it early quantum-state phenomenon.
I think it’s sweet; Geelong having it’s own Sci-Fi Club

I will be there.
Having not gone to the first two I’m unsure what to expect, but I am looking forward to it.And then Jack chopped down what was the world’s last beanstalk, adding murder and ecological terrorism to the theft, enticement and trespass charges already mentioned and all the giant’s children didn’t have a daddy any more.
