I got stuff into Local bookshops in the Canberra area for the last two cons. I now know where the majority fans shop. :) The Libraries were also more than happy to put up posters and have postcards on display. I also left postcards in all the TP books I borrowed as well as any other book I deemed may be read by a TP fan (In other words any book I borrowed.) I have only just ran out of the postcards for the first con, apart from the ones I use for bookmarks. More than happy to spread the word in the Nations Capital.

A note also: Can we have the postcards and stuff well in advance for this con? I got them about a week before the last one, which isn’t really enough time to attract anyone.

we are certainly aiming to get as much promotional stuff out there as soon as possible, but it all requires money for printing costs. As soon as we get date, venue and cost finalised we will hopefully be able to open up for registrations and thus generate some income which we can use to cover the costs.

I’ll be more than happy to blog about it as soon as I get more details and also put footnotes on any Pratchett book listed on my website. I’ll need flyers as I’ll be able to include some in each order. I can also do some bookshops near me. Might be able to get some friends to spread the word via their online bookshops too.
