Is anyone going to the World SF Con in Melbourne in early Sept
I’d like to go, but I’m a bit daunted by the size of it and the fact that I’ll be going by myself. My brother was going to go with me until he lost job and had health problems at the same time.
So, should I go or not?

Definitely go! It was great fun last time (1998ish I think). I’d be going except I now have a family and no spare cash (saving madly for DW3). You make lots of new friends easily. Have fun :-)
Why do it tomorrow when it can be put off indenfinetly?
That’s the problem, I tend towards the shy side. Although I do remember your never-ending sugar supply at DW2, which you generously shared around…

I tend towards shy as well, but have found that EVERYONE’S your friend when you have a large chocolate budget. (now you know why I have to save like mad to afford to go) :-)

I just wanted to thank all of you who helped Suzie in promoting Nullus Anxietas 3 at Aussiecon 4, in particular Miriam, Chris and Adrienne. And Rhianna for designing the poster and flyers. We have had some very positive feedback from your efforts.

An especial thank you to Rhianna for the most fabulous flyers. I had very favourable comments, and discussion as to the people in the artwork, from a number of people as I handed them out.
I had a wonderful team who either allowed me to collect them to help distribute flyers or who just assumed they’d help.
