Yes, rather sad.
But it’s not all bad. My Grandma has Alzhiemer’s and she’s a barrel of laughs. Quite often she thinks she’s a little girl again and sticks her tongue out at people.

Just in case you’re wondering how Terry’s going – spoke to him briefly, he’s in good spirits, keeping on top of everything. Apparently the type of Alzheimer’s isn’t one that makes you forget things – although what it actually does I’m not sure. His talk at the opening ceremony was quite open – very candid about his situation.
