    Hi all,

    I hope you’re all well.

I’m currently working on the online marketing side of the forthcoming DVD & Blu-ray release of The Colour of Magic. Below is the press release for title, which I thought you may all be interested to see.

I’ll hopefully have some web exclusives and competitions to offer in the coming month – i’ll let you all know!

    Thanks,

    James

Casting its spell over audiences this Christmas is Terry Pratchett’s fantasy masterpiece, The Colour of Magic, available on DVD and Blu-ray from the 3rd November. Released by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and starring David Jason and Sean Astin this mystical adventure film combines two of Pratchett’s most-beloved novels, The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic.

After inept wizard Rincewind (Jason; A Touch of Frost, The Hogfather) is expelled from Unseen University for failing to learn even basic magic he is forced to become tour guide to Discworld’s first tourist, naive insurance salesman Twoflower (Astin; Lord of the Rings, 24). Following their adventures as they flee a fire in Ankh-Morpork, endure dangerous encounters with the disc’s mythical creatures, dice with Death and fight to prevent the world from ending, Colour of Magic offers an exhilarating ride through a magical realm quite unlike any other.

Colour of Magic is bursting with breath-taking special effects, edge-of-your-seat action and boasts a stellar supporting cast that includes Tim Curry (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Annie), Christopher Lee (The Wickerman, Lord of the Rings) and Jeremy Irons (Kingdom of Heaven, The Lion King).

Available as a single disc version or a limited-edition two-disc set packed with exclusive behind the scenes extras including; a gag reel, deleted scenes and cast interviews. Bringing a piece of Terry Pratchett’s unique magic into every home the film will ensure viewers young and old enjoy a thrilling journey across Discworld this Christmas.
