I’ve seen it in a few catalogues – Dymocks is the only catalogue I can recall seeing it in. I believe Borders has it in as well

Ahh, awesome. I’ll go to the bookstore tomorrow and get a copy :)

Got my Discworld 2010 calendar already (ordered direct from The Book Depository via Booko ) but a new novel would go down a treat :)

Bought mine today from Borders ($35) with free “football cards” exclusive to Borders, which I didn’t notice until I got home. Also saw it in Dymocks Rundle Mall for $40.
Borders says it was due in store on Oct. 1.

Ah, great to know it’s in stores – I’m in Germany at the moment, but ducking over to the UK for a few days next weekend, so I’ll have a copy for the flight back to Aus :)

Mine is due to arrive in the post at any moment. I had an Amazon.uk voucher to use up so decided I would just have to wait a few days to get my copy. Also getting the Battlestar Galactica Ultimate DVD set so you are unlikely to hear much from me on these forums for a few days after it all arrives.

Yes, I have the 2010 calendar coming over from Amazon (UK), didn’t know it could be purchased here in Aus.

Haven’t tried finding the calendars in local bookstores for ages… far easier (and sometimes cheaper) to order them direct from the UK. Dymocks used to get a small number in by December each year (although they’re published in the UK in August) but I don’t know if they’ve had any the last few years.

Went to Borders at lunchtime and got Unseen Academicals with bonus football cards (although I did have to go looking for them, as the first copy I picked up didn’t have any, and the lovely lady at the front desk said only certain copies had it, and I could swap). So if you go to Borders and want to get one with the football cards in it, be sure to check for a green sticker on the front and the cards inside the front cover.

My cards are Rincewind, The Librarian and a new character called Charlie. I’m wondering if they’re all the same (the few books I checked seemed to be)… what did you get?

Hopefully I’ll find time to read it over the next week or so :)

Well looks like I’m getting my copy from Borders when I get paid then. Football cards and Discworld books = awesome!

Also got Charlie (he was in Making money in the Dept. of post-mortem communications…), Rincewind and librarian, and the copy I bought for my brother also had Rincewind as the top card in the pack, so I’m assuming they’re all the same.

Hmm, seriously thinking about borders then.
Dymocks give you extra points on your card, but footy cards sound like a winner :D

Last year minotaur had the calendar for those of us in Melb (and willing to pay megabucks :P)
