Heh. A lot of my Amazon US orders are posted from NZ. And yet Amazon NZ doesn’t exist as a separate entity, even though UK, JP, FR and DE have their own…

You can’t kill me because I’ve got magic aarrghh!

If you’ve seen the new Borders email voucher (30% off full price books) i wouldn’t bother using it on UA.
I got really excited, til i got to the counter and the 30% came off the “full price” of $54.99 on the back (not the “great price” of $39.99 on the cover), bringing it down to $38.45
In short, this “fantastic offer” will save you only $1.50.
    Bah!

We’re on a mission from Glod.

Paperback version comes out on June 10th. If you buy it from Fishpond through this link, then the Convention gets a commission.
Unseen Academicals (Discworld Novels) price $19.97 Thank you

I’d be emailing them and asking what’s happening. I’ve heard some interesting stories about Fishpond.

We’ve never had any problems with Fishpond, so I am disappointed to hear Missgoo’s tale of unrequited Discworld. Fishpond have said:
“Unseen Academicals " has been re-ordered from our suppliers and is expected to ship between 02/07/2010 and 04/07/2010.
I can’t believe our little sales drive has cleared their shelves!

My Unseen Academicals arrived at 7.45 this morning via man who needed signature…
I couldn’t really see to see if it looked like my signature… it probably didn’t…
    Still. I got my book.

Interesting as I did not need to sign for mine at the Post Office.

    Yes it is thick.

One would like to think that a Sugarbean would be in charge of the preparation of the Discworld Dinner.

Unfortunately Glenda is otherwise occu"pied" for our Gala dinner. We do have the trusty Panthers team on the case though. Fear not, fellow eaters.

Oh, speaking of pies (which I wasn’t really but who cares)… there IS a pie that the Librarian is a fan of on the menu. Full details are going to be posted soon. I hope you all like banana and caramel though…
