The fans got a heads up at the UK Discworld Con that the next Mob films Discworld adaption would be “Unseen Academicals”, this is just the official announcement :)
Well, actually, at the Con, they didn’t say Unseen Academicals was next, they said jokingly “Wee Free Men” while Terry and a prooducer from Mob films kicked around a hastily constructed soccer ball (made from tape and permanent marker). But we all knew what they meant :)

Prior to Going Postal’s release, yes, Sourcery was planned to be next. But I think they changed their minds when GP was aired. And it’s not a Watch story anyway :)
I think the problem with the Watch stories is that Terry has previously said that he only wants to start the Watch series (with Guards! Guards!) as long as it’s guaranteed to do a sequence of them with the same cast (e.g. MAA, FoC, T5E, NW, Thud, Snuff). Considering the likelihood of getting a film production company or TV network to pre-agree to several movies all at once, the likelihood of us seeing live-action Watch stories is very small. Plus you’ve got to admit that Guards! Guards! would be quite expensive to make, what with the dragons and all…

I would of thought there would be plenty of dragons around after Eragon, but no. We get inundated with Vampires after Twilight.
