Ditto. Maybe we can start a correspondence match?

Just in case one of us doesnt know ?

MSN is an Instant Messenger so you can talk live.

All you do to get it is put MSN into your browser and you can download it free. Its easy to use.

It’s also possible to connect to the MSN network (and many others – ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, Jabber/Google Talk, IRC) with some other progams such as GAIM , Miranda IM and Trillian

I’d recommend these above Microsoft’s own MSN, just because they have less crap in them :) Plus, as mentioned, you can use one program for many IM networks, instead of having to install a whole heap.

For those on a mac (like me) Adium is a very nice option. Definitely better than Microsoft’s client.

But then, I think anyone accusing me of anti-microsoft bias wouldn’t be completely wrong ;)

Littleowl – I’m sure we’ll manage a game soon, I expect to loose as I am not very familiar with the rules, so I should be safe from the Troll between the eyes method of play.

The dwarves hurt more because of their pointy helmets, but yes the safest way to avoid projectile thud pieces is by not winning. ;p

I am back! Anyone want to set up a date/time? Robbie, I’ll try to catch you on MSN sometime, or we can try to arrange for a specific time – Tuesday evenings are generally out for me, but I’m online most other evenings/ afternoons from about 5-ish.

Sandra- Any photo’s of one of your sets? I haven’t been able to get a commercial set yet, since they aren’t selling them in the US. I tried ordering one of a UK website and they said they were unable to ship here. I will be there on Feb 9th, and would probably be interested.

Robbie, I have added you as a contact on MSN – I’m terrible at remembering to log in, but keep an eye out for a message from ‘humanamiac’.

Anyone who wants a game with me via email will have to post their email address here and wait for me to reply, because I really don’t like putting my email address up on public boards. If you’d like a game but have similar qualms we’ll have to catch up at the con. :)

    Omthetortoise -

I do have photos – can you e-mail me and I can send them to you

    Sandra.battye@btinternet.com

There are quite a few colours already made up btu if you wanted something specific I’ve probably run out of time (supplies can be erratic)

Also – for anyone with the commercial set I do replacement boards – apparently some people have worn out their boards and being card they probably don’t hold up in the rain. Mine are fabric and can be washed if beer is spilt on them!!!! (i mean someone else’s beer not yours – no one spills their own beer)

    Sandra-

Tried to email you, came back undeliverable for some reason. I wish I could get a set in time to learn the rules, but hopefully I can buy one of the commercial (and possibly one of yours) when I get down there.
