How To Get There
Unfortunately, travel by broomstick, or simply disappearing or reappearing in a puff of smoke is impractical (and probably illegal) on Roundworld. However, there are many other methods to getting around, detailed below. If all else, fails, you could just walk – although for some journeys this may take some time.
Getting around Adelaide
- Public Transport – Bus, Train and Tram Services are provided by Adelaide Metro. Check the website for fares and travel planning. You can also use Google Maps to plan your journey by public transport.
- The free city bus travels around the city centre and North Adelaide.
- The tram is also free when travelling between the South Terrace and Entertainment Centre stops, check Adelaide Metro for full details (look for the Glenelg tram route).
- There are also free city bikes available from several locations.

Transport from Adelaide Airport
- Public transport – the J1 or J2 ‘JetBus’ services picks up and drops off at the bus stop to the south west of Terminal 1 on Level 2 (Departures). Turn left as you exit the terminal. JetBus travels to and from the CBD, Glenelg and north-eastern suburbs. Single trip and day trip passes can be purchased from the bus driver.
- Skylink Adelaide provides minibus transport between the Adelaide Airport, the CBD and Adelaide Parklands Terminal. It does set downs and pick ups at most major city hotels. Check the website for timetables and bookings.
- Car rental desks are located on the ground floor adjacent to the baggage claim area.
- Or you could rent a Smart Car 1300 1300 20 (bookings required)
- The taxi rank is located directly out the front of Terminal 1 on the ground floor.
Transport from Adelaide Parklands Railway Terminal
(a.k.a. Keswick Interstate Railway Terminal)
- Skylink Adelaide provides minibus transport between the Adelaide Airport, the CBD and Adelaide Parklands Terminal. It does set downs and pick ups at most major city hotels. Check the website for timetables and bookings.
- The taxi rank is located at the northern end of the terminal.
- Connection to the Adelaide suburban train services (operated by Adelaide Metro) is available at the nearby Keswick Railway Station, and requires a 200m walk across an overpass and along a winding road. An train stopping here will take less than 10 minutes to reach Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace.
Transport from Adelaide Central Bus Station
Interstate and country buses arrive and depart from Adelaide Central Bus Station, located in the CBD at 85 Franklin Street. There is a taxi rank outside the station. The bus station is quite central and the free city bus is available.
