Additional Activities
At Nullus Anxietas X we want you to have a wonderful time. To facilitate this we have some additional activities that will run during the convention that you can participate in.
Grimoire
In your convention bag Mrs Letice Earwig has placed a Grimoire for you to fill as you complete essential tasks for a Nullus Anxietas witch.
These tasks may require you to complete tasks such as taking cool iconographs with fellow attendees, taking part in events and activities or conquering Thud in the Thud Academy.
Be sure to check the schedule for when events occur.
You will need to complete 7a tasks on each page and have them checked off by someone wearing a FAMILIAR ribbon who observed the task completion or someone in Ops on presentation of an iconograph the task.
When all pages have been completed see Ops for a special prize. For questions or enquiries, please find Coven Co-ordinator (self-appointed) Mrs Letice Earwig.
Ribbons
Following on from the fun had at the Adelaide Convention, we have continued the idea of ribbon collecting.
Each convention bag will have your starter ribbon, if you are a first time attendee you will also have a bonus ribbon to celebrate your first convention! They each have a strip of double sided tape at the top to attach them together, start by sticking the first ribbon to the bottom of your lanyard - forming a rainbow of ribbons.
To collect ribbons, ask when attending events or volunteering, and from select committee members. There may not be enough of each ribbon for everyone, there will be many lots of ribbons in the wild, but there will be a full collection up for grabs in the charity auction.
Have fun!
Spill Words
"A spill word is a word that somebody almost says, but doesn't"
- I Shall Wear Midnight
You will find a peg in your convention bag. Carry it with you. If you say any of the Spill Words during the convention and someone else hears and points it out, they can take your peg (and any others you have collected). Likewise, if you hear someone else say a Spill Word, you can take all of their pegs. Whoever has the most pegs at the Closing Ceremony wins!.
The spill words4 are:
- WITCH
- DISCWORLD
- DUCK
Note: Please see Convention organisers for disagreements on whether a word was said. Plurals of spill words count and pegs will be lost. However, bewitched and turducken do not as they have different meanings.
