The Maskerade, a highlight of the Australian Discworld Conventions, is a costume, prop and talent competition for everyone, no matter their skill level.
Step up and show your peers your best Pig Trick!2. If you are handy with a hot glue gun, nifty with a needle, or magic on a microphone, we want to see you shine by bonfire light. Who knows, you may even get an approving nod from Granny!

The Ankh-Morpork Times is pleased to announce that the social event of the season known as the Gala Dinner will be graciously hosted by Lady Lilith de Tempscire. The 2026 dinner will be held at Genua Castle on the evening of Saturday, 11th April. The theme is Masked Ball and attendees should dress in costume or evening wear. Bu-Bubble advises that dresses in eau de nil are very much in vogue this summer.
