Convention Newcomers

"That just goes to show that you never know, although what it is we never know I suspect we'll never know." - Terry Pratchett, Snuff

Never been to an Australian Discworld Convention?

This is for you!

We've all had that first moment of uncertainty: What's it all about? What do I do there?

That's why Heath, our volunteer Newbie Liaison, intends to keep you in the know with some advice for Discworld convention newcomers.

See the videos here (more to come!)

You will know why you should look in your convention bag as soon as you get it, what to do with Klatch nomination slips, how to read the timetable, all about the 5-2-1 rule, and much more. Over the next couple of months, Heath will upload informative instruction manuals by way of videos to our Youtube Channel explaining some of the pointier3 items. It's also a great idea to read our Newcomer's ABC and Frequently Asked Questions.
