Nullus Anxietas 9 - The Australian Discworld Convention - will be held on 12-14 July, 2024, at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, Adelaide, SA.
With our dates and venue now locked in, we are also proud to launch the new website, with a spooky look and updated information.
Attending Memberships are also now on sale in the shop, and the early bird sale will give you a discount up until January 31, 2024. We once again thank everyone who has already purchased a supporting membership and you can now upgrade to an attending membership in either a single payment or by installments.
Meet our new mascot - and they need a name!Our new logo features the convention mascot - but we need your suggestions on what to name them!
We're holding a competition to name the mascot and there's a mystery prize pack to be won! Just fill in this form before 31 May 2023 and you will be in the running!
Got a spare set of hands, and a brain in (mostly) working order? Nullus Anxietas 9 needs you to join our team of Igors to make the convention the betht it can be!
We still need to fill some committee positions, so if you're passionate and organised, please let us know your skill set so we can find the right place for you!
If the committee sounds too daunting, there's plenty of other things you can volunteer for to help us out. Got a great idea for a presentation, discussion, workshop, or performance at the convention that you want to run? Let us know. Do you have the artistic skills of Methodia Rascal and can paint/draw us your own Koom Valley? We will definitely need your art. Just want to help out in the Watch or as a general Igor-like helper? Please volunteer.
The convention is entirely run by volunteers, so the more of you that step up to help, the better everything will be.
The convention is more than a year away, so if you're worried that you won't know anyone - well there's plenty of time to get to know at least some people!
The easiest way is to join our Facebook Community where everyone is encouraged to chat about all things Pratchett and the Australian Discworld Convention.
There are also many fan clubs all around Australia, many of which have regular in-person or online social events. Join as many of them as you like!
