It's just over six months until Nullus Anxietas 9 - The Australian Discworld Convention and we hope you're as excited as we are. There will be much more information revealed in these newsletters in the coming months - so please be sure to read them as they come out!

We'd also like to take this opportunity to explain memberships to make everything clear.
If you want to attend the convention in person in July, you will need to purchase an Attending Membership. This allows you to attend all events at the convention1, get a convention bag and book, and more.
We also offer a Supporting Membership at $50 which allows you to support the convention, even if you can't attend. The special thing about a supporting membership is that it acts as a holding deposit for your place at the convention, and can be upgraded to an attending membership at any time up until 31 May 2024. You retain the attending membership price for the time at which you purchased your supporting membership, which means that if you buy a supporting membership prior to 31 January 2024, you can later upgrade to an attending membership at the early-bird price. After several months of very hard work, we'd like to reveal to you our wonderful poster:

If you would like to print out your own copy of the poster (and perhaps put it up in your local café or bookshop) then you can download it here on our website.
Accommodation: There was a few weeks in November and December where the link on our website to book your accommodation was broken - the hotel had changed their booking system, and then the discount code wasn't working. It's all fixed now, but if you happened to book your room and did not get the discounted rate of $190 per night (for a King or Twin room), then please contact the hotel directly on 08 8231 5552 and get them to apply the discount code DISC (or Australian Discworld Convention) to your booking. If you are still having trouble, please contact us.
Processing Fees: Starting February 1st (to coincide with the end of the early-bird sale), we are going to start charging processing fees when you pay via credit card or PayPal. These will help to cover the costs that our credit card provider and PayPal charge us to process your payment. The processing fee amount will be made clear during checkout so you will know what it is before completing your purchase. We're a not-for-profit organisation, so every dollar we receive is used to make the convention even better. If you want to avoid these processing fees, you can choose to pay via Bank Deposit or PayID. See here for more detailed information.
