Discworld is coming back to the stage all over Australia!
First up is The Truth in Western Australia, performed by Rolyestone Theatre. It will be on from June 30-July 8 at the Don Russell, Performing Arts Centre, Lot 13 Murdoch Road, Thornlie WA 6108.
There’s even more truth over in Victoria – with three different plays hitting the stage this year.
First up is... you guessed it... The Truth, performed by Gemco Players. It will be on from July 7-22 at the Gem Community Arts Centre, 19 Kilvington Drive, Emerald, Vic 3782.
This is then followed up by Feet of Clay, performed by Red Cliffs Players. It will be on from July 28-August 5 at Cardross Hall, 399 Dairtnunk Ave, Cardross Vic, 3496.
Then later in the year, we’ll have Wyrd Sisters, performed by Ballarat National Theatre Inc. It will be on from September 22-October 1 at a venue to be announced.
Lastly, further north will be Monstrous Regiment in Queensland, performed by Brisbane Arts Theatre. It will be on from October 14-November 25, at the Brisbane Arts Theatre, 210 Petrie Tce, Brisbane, 4000.
Know about any other plays taking place in Australia or New Zealand? Let us know and we'll get the word out to all our newsletter subscribers and social followers.
Recently announced - Good Omens Season 2 will be launched on Prime Video on July 28 (or possibly July 29 for Australia, due to time zones). Given that Season 1 was based on the book, we have no idea what's coming for this second season - apart from more goodness (and evilness) from Aziraphale and Crowley.
Also coming soon is Good Omens: An Ineffable Card Game from Renegade Game Studios. The only information we have tells us 3 versions (different components, same game play) will be available from different retailers in the US, but no information has been given about an international release as yet.
And just announced today - Dunmanifestin and the Terry Pratchett Estate will be launching a Kickstarter for Good Omens: The Official (and ineffable) Graphic Novel very soon. Click here to sign up to be notified when it is launched.
The Australian Discworld Convention is back! Join us for a fun weekend in deepest darkest Uberwald! It will be on from 12-14 July, 2024 - Grand Chancellor Hotel, Adelaide
